THE PROBLEM

Not all development is good for the neighborhood.

In 2017, after several years of planning, Nashville adopted a 20 year long-range plan to guide development.  Our neighborhood was designated a T2-Rural Maintenance transect, which is intended to preserve the rural character of our neighborhood.  Many people moved here specifically to enjoy the natural surroundings.

Now, the 290 acre parcel on Cato Rd that has been up for sale has applied to rezone from AR2A to RM-4 or 4 multi-family dwellings per acre.
